Yes No Tarot publishes tarot readings, card meanings and astrology guides. This page explains where that material comes from, how it is checked, and how you can tell us when something is wrong.
What we cover
The site covers yes or no tarot readings and the meanings of all 78 tarot cards, upright and reversed. Each card’s meaning includes what it says about love, feelings, people and outcomes.
The site also publishes daily horoscopes for the 12 signs and astrology guides on every planet in every sign and on rising signs. Two free tools sit alongside the articles: a birth chart calculator and a tarot card of the day.
Who writes our pages
Every article names its writer in the byline. Each writer has an author page, so you can see who is behind the pages you read.
Tarot sources and traditions
Card meanings follow the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition. That tradition is based on the 1909 deck and on A. E. Waite’s The Pictorial Key to the Tarot (1910).
Some cards are linked to planets, signs and elements. For those links, we follow the Golden Dawn’s Book T and Aleister Crowley’s The Book of Thoth. We also use modern references, including Rachel Pollack’s Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom and the books of Mary K. Greer.
Traditions do not always agree. When they differ, the article names the tradition it follows.
How yes or no verdicts are set
A yes or no answer is a convention of tarot practice. It is not a fact that can be measured.
Our verdicts follow what established tarot references publish. When those references disagree, the page says so and explains the reading it gives.
The yes or no cheat sheet and each card’s own page give the same verdict. A page about one specific question can reach a different answer. When it does, it explains why.
Astrology data and horoscopes
Some astrology facts can be checked against data. These include the dates when planets change signs, sign rulers and dignities. We check them against published ephemerides and standard tables. Birth charts of well-known people use published birth data.
The birth chart calculator computes planetary positions with the Swiss Ephemeris.
Daily horoscopes are general readings for each sign, published every day. They do not describe exact planetary positions.
Fact-checking before publication
Before an article is published, its facts are checked against its sources. If a fact cannot be confirmed, we correct it, mark it clearly as uncertain, or remove it.
Reflection, not prediction
Readings, card meanings and horoscopes are interpretation. They are offered for reflection and entertainment, and they do not predict events with certainty.
They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial or mental health advice. For those matters, please speak to a qualified professional.
Updates, corrections and independence
We review and update pages over time. The updated date on a page changes when its content changes.
If you find an error, email editorial@yesnotarot.net and include the link to the page. When we confirm an error, we correct it.
The site publishes no sponsored articles and accepts no paid placements.
